![]() I was pretty appalled simply because I still took the time to T-Stack and wanted all my shit to fit (complete waste of cube space to just toss shit in). Because there weren't enough people to get all the freight into the truck in an expedient manner. Stacking procedures in a bulk truck, at least in 2001, consisted of building a "wall" 3 feet from your last wall, about 3-4' high, then tossing packages over in a haphazard manner. Quote: Personally, I'd never ship anything FedEx Express that has a chance to hit the weekend sort, because most of the volume goes out on bulk trucks. No sweat as others have pointed out.Personally, I'd never ship anything FedEx Express that has a chance to hit the weekend sort, because most of the volume goes out on bulk trucks. A scuffed label is generally no problem as you can usually still read the number, at which point you can generate a new label. Anyway, packages get scuffed on sorting equipment, rubbed together in the matrix inputs, on the slide waiting to be scanned and placed inside a container (or bulk truck), etc. Hell, I worked for RPS (now FedEx Ground) one balmy summer (quickest way to lose weight, guaranteed). Whoa! very cool - View image here: - way to go lilmomma420!įedEx Ground and FedEx Express (the overnight companies) are completely different animals. So in other words, they all have issues, some days you get lucky, other days it's your turn in the barrel. Off the top of my head USPS drank a case of my beer (shotgunned the cans and put them back in the case), UPS lost 2 cases of SunDrop soda, DHL just bent my new windshield wipers (the box was destroyed, why they even bothered to deliver it is beyond me), Fedex delivered a package that was never found again, airborne hmm actually I dont think they were ever an issue except for a couple late deliveries. I have had packages lost, mangled, dispaear, late, eaten, drunk and killed by all of the major and minor carriers. ![]() And my Sekrit Santa gift, despite the fact I ordered it online over 2 weeks ago, still hasn't shipped - View image here: - Bad luck lately I guess. I wouldn't be worried, except it should have left town today, its been sitting in fort worth (about 15 minutes from here) for three days. And, other people got their RotK DVD today, but not me, and I didn't use el cheapo shipping. The address was written on the label as well, and its on 3 different faces of the box, clearly legible.I should have used DHL, dammit. This has xmas presents in it, hence my concern.
